Key Roles and Responsibilities
•Work under the direction of CSO and team lead and contribute to multiple projects developing kits for cancer/infectious disease diagnostics•Hands-on involvement in all stages of assay development, from initial feasibility through to verification and validation and product launch•Fully document all work following existing SOPs and prepare experiment summaries, internal reports and presentations as required under and Quality Management System•With guidance, create documentation according to GeneFirst Design Control Process for IVD products•Responsible for ensuring timely completion of all relevant deliverables
Essential Attributes
•BSc or Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Genomics, Cellular/Cancer Biology, Bioinformatics/computing science or relevant Life Sciences field or relevant industry experience (1-3+ years)•Familiarity working with DNA/RNA samples, NGS library construction, and workflows including data analysis •Strong experience of nucleic acid technologies, PCR, highly multiplex PCR, RT-PCR, quantitative PCR •Team orientated with excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to take ownership and accountability of assignments
Desirable Attributes
