NIH-supported Postdoc Fellow in vascular biology and metabolism at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine
Our lab has major research interests in vascular biology and cellular metabolism. We currently focus on the elucidation of molecular mechanisms of vascular diseases, diabetes associated with vascular diseases and tumor angiogenesis (Nat Genetics 2014, Gastroenterology 2016, Science Signaling 2017, Circulation Research 2018, Arter. Thromb. Vasc. Biol 2019, etc.). We are using a combination of molecular, cellular, genomic and mouse genetic approaches for the studies and translational research.
The PI is a faculty member of UC College of Medicine (https://researchdirectory.uc.edu/p/fanyb). We are looking for highly motivated, collaborative and hardworking individuals. The candidate will receive excellent research training and guidance on career development. Qualified applicants should have M.D., or Ph.D. in Physiology, Pharmacology, Molecular Cellular Biology, Vascular Biology, or a related field. A demonstrated background in vascular biology or metabolism and prior experience with animal studies are preferred.
